Hours after Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis released the racketeering indictment charging Trump and 18 allies in a conspiracy to change Georgia’s 2020 election results, Trump raged against the case on his Truth Social platform.
[Trump] claimed to have evidence that would lead to a “complete EXONERATION of him and his allies, adding: “They never went after those that Rigged the Election. They only went after those that fought to find the RIGGERS!”

This November's elections, even AFTER a sordid assortment of schemes, maneuvers, and underhanded actions designed to disempower and disenfranchise tens of thousands of voters,
the Trump backed MAGA party (and a number of Trump/MAGA endorsed candidates) STILL lost "UGELY' on many fronts.
They lost, even in red districts and on various issues and positions, especially re laws and voter approved mandates that safeguard a woman's reproductive rights.
Meanwhile a number of their fascist domestic terrorists (aka Moms for "Liberty") also lost in multiple school board races, the PEOPLE having apparently figured out who and WHAT THEY ARE.
All in all, a win for Democrats, and democracy.
But the MAGAs who are HELL BENT on enforcing their will upon the majority wouldn't look at these results and figure that maybe they're on the wrong side of these issues. Nahhh. Not a chance. Because fascists don't function that way.
Instead, they'd rather conclude that the problem is with everyone/ everything ELSE. That the elections were "rigged," the system is "flawed" the elections were "stolen" or as a former MAGA senator and presidential candidate suggested, democracies shouldn't exist.
Actually he said "pure" democracies, but since we don't HAVE a "pure" democracy, he apparently was speaking out of the same asshole he spoke from when he was kicked off CNN for trashing Native Americans... i.e. consider the source.
So naturally the MAGA solution to losing bigly is to CONTINUE to seek to RIG it in their favor - to change the rules, undercut, undermine, and again resort to judicial end-arounds via their typical reich-winged flim-flamery - hell bent on having it THEIR way, regardless.
