Instead, you are right, he went on the the attack as a defensive measure. You could see the guy shaking - he knew they had him and was just buying time to figure out how he was going to exit this fiasco.

But you're right about the Dahmer comparison, although "antisocial" is one of the things list of things I would have diagnosed poor Jeff with. But speaking of Jeff...y'know Jeff and his old man had a squirrelly, off and on relationship, exemplified by the night (toward the end of the whole thing) dad went over to Jeff's apartment for some dinner and serious communication. Look...when discussing the tribal nature of things in this **** country, certainly "fraud" must enter into the conversation. Of course it can't be applied to the 2020 election or the pandemic (which most of them are insisting was some sort of planful fraud). So it's not like the other tribe is going to be interested in any possible problem solving.
Well...with O'Keefe as with anybody else...we got free speech in this country, so whatever anybody wants to say about pretty much anything is recognized by the Supreme Court as nobody else's business.
