It just so happens that there are people, both in and out of government, who  believe that government and politicians have no fkng business dictating to women what to do with their bodies, or dictating to any individual what sex he or she MUST be. To some of us, that's freedom.

As opposed to the twisted sick fk MAGA NOTION OF FREEDOM whereby THEY get to tell the REST OF US what to do.

What I HAVE suggested is that a family dealing with such a situation must surely go through a tremendous amount of soul searching, anxiety, and whatever else all I can't possibly imagine.  All of which must take place over a span of quite some time, and eventually culminating in some decisions on the part of all involved, often resulting in GENDER REASSIGNMENT SURGERY and HORMONAL THERAPY (or what you call "mutilation"). 

All of which you seem to suggest is just something acted upon some spur of the moment whim, devoid of all considerations and ramifications. 

AND which, imo, is THEIR RIGHT TO CHOOSE

As for children still in cages, YES TRUMP STOLE THEM.  He took them without the parents' permission, didn't make any effort to keep track of them, made no plans on RETURNING THEM.  AS IN STOLEN.

And at least the Biden administration has successfully reunited some 500 children with their families, and is currently searching for at least a thousand more, SEARCHING thanks to the FACT that Trump and his goons kept NO RECORDS on any of them.

Tell me, if a woman gets her breasts enlarged or reduced, is that a mutilation? By whose definition? Yours?
