And walked over to a church with a Christian bible. Who would want to burn down Christian churches and then promote war between Christian Russia and Christian USA? What would they benefit from the war?

That's a good question. Better still, why would anyone promote ANY war.

Though personally I think that church stunt in which Trump held up an upside down Bible (real Omen type stuff there, imo) was a stunt intended (as Trump usually intends) to drive wedges between Americans and attempt to turn even human rights and civil rights issues (e.g. Chauvin's murder of Floyd) into a cultural war.  Too bad he didn't take into account a helluva lot of people from multiple races, including Christians, saw Chauvin's inhumanity as wrong, period, and took up the cause.

I have carried bible to a church a few times and never checked to see how it was held, cant read the small print while walking.

Billionaires created socialism for billionaire purposes and if we are not careful we tend to drift off into something similar to a wrestling match show that is not reality. Create war-death, bankrupt people and then take ownership for pennies on the dollar.

I'd agree that you are partly correct, Bob. Though I'd be inclined to say that billionaires created both socialism and capitalism for billionaire purposes. And yes, they laugh all the way to the bank. To be sure there is no perfect side, only the lesser of two evils.

Most advanced democracies, even though capitalists, recognize the need for the social aspects of governance that a responsible democracy provides for their citizenry, such as the right to healthcare and the like. Unfortunately the U.S. is one democracy that doesn't regard the latter as a right.

A wrestling match show, perhaps. Though for my money, I'd rather choose the side that isn't laughing all the way to the bank via the demonizing of minorities, the poor, the sick, the infirm, and by promoting hate and intolerance for diversity and inclusion.

Advanced democracy always terminates into some kind of old world styled monarchical-feudal group dependency disaster, etc. This was known 250 years ago and its still true in 2022.  Free speech? No thanks, bust a deal and face the wheel. $600 was said to be enough for the poor and the sick however the fuel price inflation alone amounts to over $700 per year and will be helping to drive up prices on all other products and services.

Advanced world war on civilians, micky mouse explanations from drunken old women and high estrogen males.

The thing that struck ME in watching Thursday night's J6 committee hearings was not the repeated and deliberate mention of the phrase "dereliction of duty" in reference to Trump's actions, nor the already KNOWN report that he WANTED to allow armed protesters through metal detectors, or WANTED to go to the Capitol.

No, it was the realization that Trump and his collaborators working with/for him, including those planted among the protestors, methodically passed the word amongst them that MIKE PENCE was the target.

Targeted him sufficiently enough that Pence's OWN SECRET SERVICE had picked up on enough chatter and radio cross talk to HAVE FEARED FOR THEIR LIVES.

That Trump HIMSELF targeted him/them, then sat back and waited... did NOTHING and CALLED NO ONE....

waited for what HE SURELY EXPECTED TO BE A BLOODBATH.

Trump’s actions on Jan. 6 weren’t dereliction of duty — but much worse: presidential historian

See, this is what happens when you try to be fair and even handed across the board. I've said upfront in my PG threads no personal attacks, drive by **** posting, trolling, racism and senseless content, right?

So the other day someone posts a personal attack, not directed at me, but another poster in one of these threads. A guy who seems to have a liberal pov. But to be fair, I removed the post, but didn't ban him. Gave him another chance, like I'd given to a few others.

What does this joker do in return? He goes through this thread downgrading several posts (though he isn't the only one taking that kind of advantage).

Live and learn.
