That's a good question. Better still, why would anyone promote ANY war.Bob » 14 Jul 2022, 5:30 am » wrote: ↑ And walked over to a church with a Christian bible. I have carried bible to a church a few times and never checked to see how it was held, cant read the small print while walking.B.See » 14 Jul 2022, 5:40 am » wrote: ↑ That's a good question. Better still, why would anyone promote ANY war.
Though personally I think that church stunt in which Trump held up an upside down Bible (real Omen type stuff there, imo) was a stunt intended (as Trump usually intends) to drive wedges between Americans and attempt to turn even human rights and civil rights issues (e.g. Chauvin's murder of Floyd) into a cultural war. Too bad he didn't take into account a helluva lot of people from multiple races, including Christians, saw Chauvin's inhumanity as wrong, period, and took up the cause.
I'd agree that you are partly correct, Bob. Though I'd be inclined to say that billionaires created both socialism and capitalism for billionaire purposes. And yes, they laugh all the way to the bank. To be sure there is no perfect side, only the lesser of two evils.Bob » 14 Jul 2022, 10:39 pm » wrote: ↑ I have carried bible to a church a few times and never checked to see how it was held, cant read the small print while walking.
Billionaires created socialism for billionaire purposes and if we are not careful we tend to drift off into something similar to a wrestling match show that is not reality. Create war-death, bankrupt people and then take ownership for pennies on the dollar.

Most advanced democracies, even though capitalists, recognize the need for the social aspects of governance that a responsible democracy provides for their citizenry, such as the right to healthcare and the like. Unfortunately the U.S. is one democracy that doesn't regard the latter as a right.
A wrestling match show, perhaps. Though for my money, I'd rather choose the side that isn't laughing all the way to the bank via the demonizing of minorities, the poor, the sick, the infirm, and by promoting hate and intolerance for diversity and inclusion.
