Oh man...how true it is.
I posted some info a while back that states that it takes 85 lbs of coal or 6 barrels of oil to produce enough electricity to fully charge an electric car ONCE.

Yep...not to mention the strip mining and other aspects of producing green power and then the problems with disposing of worn out solar panels and wind turbines.
