I have.. The idea for a safe friendly family theme park originated with Kansas City's Fairyland Park, which was at not safe all and filled with dishonest carney games and all manner of greasy spoon food stalls it was at least partly run by gangsters and had unsafe rides that killed dozens over the years. Disney's original idea was a park where you paid one price and could ride anything as often as you wished. This has changed over the years.
Walt's idea was to make tons of money and provide safe entertainment. I can't imagine why he would be disappointed about his performance today.
Go to the library and check out any one of several unofficial biographies of Disney. His life story is quite interesting.

I believe Disney had his own academy to train "THE DISNEY WAY" to the best artists he could get.
Thousands of acetate paintings / overlays..just a mind boggling amount of creativity, direction and cooperation to produce those incredible works of genius.
I am a fan of the EARLY POPEYE fully animated cartoons too.

I think we can ALL agree - even pathological disney defenders like yourself - that it did not IMPROVE their business prospects. At BEST, Disney trying to bully an elected governor had a neutral outcome. No matter what, Disney did not profit from it.
