Initially, I just assumed this was some kind of crude zip-gun. But, after you mentioned it fired 3 shots, I had to go and see if I could find an image of this gun. I knew that there is no way it could be a revolver - clockwork and timing is just too complex for a novice gun maker. So, I thought semi-auto, but I couldn't figure out how he could make a perfect magazine that fed into barrel's chamber without any hickups - takes gun manufacturers lots of trial and error to get this right.JinnMartini » 08 Jul 2022, 11:10 am » wrote: ↑ The guy fired at least 3 bullets at Abe . . . as far as I know without reloading.
Could a black powder pistol manage that ?
Nah !
Wrong. Muskets do indeed shoot bullets. A lead ball is essentially a bullet, and it is fully capable of firing bullet-shaped projectiles as well. A blunderbuss is just a shotgun.Xavier_Onassis » 08 Jul 2022, 11:35 am » wrote: ↑ Someone said that the weapon used had to have BULLETS.
This does not seem to me to be essential.
Blunderbusses do not use bullets.
Muskets do not need bullets.
By "bullet", I meant manufactured cartridges that combine the metal projectile with the metal casing containing the charge.Skans » 08 Jul 2022, 11:59 am » wrote: ↑ Wrong. Yes !
They call them the Hibakuska in Japan. Some atomic bomb victims survived the impact but remained contaminated from radiation. They were ostracized by Japanese society for the radioactive skin they received from the fallout.JinnMartini » 08 Jul 2022, 10:40 am » wrote: ↑ IN A PURELY MILITARY PERSPECTIVE . . .

99% of those who were killed in Hiroshima / Nagasaki were women and children and the elderly !
Men of fighting age were all at the front !
In war the victor gets to determine what was war crimes and what wasn't !

The Japanese made a huge mistake in just bombing Pearl Harbour !
They should have made it Americans-free and then annexed the whole archipelago
And next conquered Mid Way island and annexed it too !
And then build bases from where to carpet bomb US mainland ciies, without so much as a soldier on the ground !

They overestimated themselves !

And look at China . . . a country maybe 15 times or more the size of Japan . . . being trampled by it !

Gimmie a break !
Maybe the Japanese did not want to take a risk of having a third GENBAKU on their heads ?
what is a soul without a gender playing the sole role of a malcontent being alive in their own skin? When persons desire a murder suicide pact, I prefer they do the suicide first because the person being murdered might not want to actually be dead as much as the person doing the killing that gets to change their mind after the murder was completed.
Thank you man !

Yes everyone, I am being very sarcastic and little bit serious.
No, I really did not know that. I thought you were drawing a distinction between round-ball ammo as opposed to "bullet", i.e. conical ammo with an ogive nose.Xavier_Onassis » 08 Jul 2022, 12:05 pm » wrote: ↑ By "bullet", I meant manufactured cartridges that combine the metal projectile with the metal casing containing the charge.
You know that, you are just being contentious.
Some people use tire weights to make their own bullets - tire weights are preferred since they haven't lived their life in acid. Gun barrels don't like corrosive material. Casting bullets (also know in the hobby as "boolits" https://castboolits.gunloads.com/showth ... oolit-quot) is done by bench-rest shooters looking to make consistently near-perfect cartridges.
And get trapped into other people's diversions of actual life limited to eternally separated occupying space now. had enough of that by the time I was 32 years old.

Only the pacific Island (to which even Australia belongs), the Middle East and Africa remain to be disputed !
In the best scenario three power blocks will be left !

In the same prefecture Abe died.
He died in Nara Pref. in Kansai . . . not too far from where I live.
Well, to be completely honest, I live in the hills of Kobe, Hyogo prefecture and he died in Nara, Kansai prefecture !
But the road to Nara goes several times through Kansai and Hyogo prefectures !
ZigZagging through the borders !
Country-side road !
Not that it matters in any way, as far as Abe is concerned.
I just meant to say that we're not too far away from where this **** occurred !
Go **** yourself. Ever heard of the rape of Nanking, **** cocksucker.JinnMartini » 08 Jul 2022, 10:40 am » wrote: ↑ IN A PURELY MILITARY PERSPECTIVE . . .
