Of course it is....The Ruger Mini 14 has a function.....for which people buy it.....it reflects the actual demand for a semi auto firing a NATO 5.56 mm....Not coincidentally for the same reason the AR-15 and the NATO 5.56 were developed.

 I will dumb this down for you.

The AR 15 Semi auto civilian sports rifle is no different operationally than the ruger Mini 14 series of rifles. Shoots the same round, has the same magazine capacity, and operates basically the same. There are differences internally but the outcome is the same.  It shoots the same round at the same FPS at the same rate of fire.  Has the SAME CAPACITY to kill human beings.

Oh, by the way, you have just proven that your **** is based on appearance.  I have been counting on the fact you were not informed enough to know the Ruger Mini is based on the M 14.  The mini is a scaled down version of the weapon designed to **** kill people, which, most firearms are designed for.
