If you want a good read get "Whatever Happened to Penny Candy".
This and other books were written by Richard J. Maybury an economist expert who advised presidents, etc. They're easy read written in a context of a nephew asking his uncle about the economy, etc. It's a series of books in the form of letters/short chapters between a nephew and his uncle.
