Dims have control of the Senate. All Leader Scummer needs to do is convince Manchin and Sinema to vote with him. Don't like the filibuster...blame it on Scummer.

I found this one for the B.See troll but you can use it too....

The filibuster is a Senate rule, these rules are written by the senate, get rid of the filibuster now and you’ll be crying next January when the Dems don’t have it to use.

Congress doesn’t have the authority to legislate abortion.

So you're saying Leader Scummer and Stink Finger are both lying when they say there aren't the votes to get rid of the filibuster.

Got it!

Harry Reid a dem changed the filibuster rule regarding Judges and the dems have been sorry about that ever since ...

Dem's could pass legislation if they wouldn't constantly over-reach.

As for the Filibuster, I am all for it being ended starting next year.

No. The filibuster is a rule of the Senate. It was established to foster compromise. Harry Reid got rid of the rule that a Senator could hold up the appointment of a Federal Judge. Trump won and appointed hundreds of Federal judges. That Senate rule was in effect for decades. It will only be just, if the dems get rid of the filibuster just in time for the voters to vote in a GOP Senate. With an already senile lame duck president it will be easier to ram through sensible laws without dem filibusters. Senile Joe may be overridden if he tries to Veto. Dems have the votes to change the rules. Do it dems!

It Is simply a way to delay the passing of a bill for so long that it just runs out of time for consideration. The house has to move on to another topic.

A fibuster used to be where you stood and talked for hours and hours to stop the bill from passing till you quit speaking.

They changed the rules of the filibuster some years ago to where you don't have to do that and it makes your bill have to get 60 votes to pass. Basically it's a tool for the minority to block a bill by not have a simple majority to pass.
