You acquiesced that gender and sex are different concepts, they aren't. If you are born with a penis your biological sex is male, your gender is male. Period.

Because short people can be lanky, but cannot be tall.
There ARE instances - sanguine and carefree, for example. Get and acquire. But they have historical explanations - having to do with the norman conquest.
Sex and gender, not so much.
Note, too, that tall people can be the opposite of lanky. They can be tall and corpulent. Tall and pudgy. Tall and lanky are two different words for the same reason that sex and gender are two different words: they mean different things.

I will grant you that gender is being misused a tad - but gender is less specific than sex. Sex is a hard scientific term. Gender is a softer term, used for grammaer, among other things - especially in Latinate languages, but also in English.
Gender roles and sex roles are different. Men can perform functions in feminine gender roles without being queer. They CANNOT perform functions in feminine SEX roles without being queer.
You may see the uncoupling of sex and gender as a game these fruits are playing. I do not. They ARE playing game - but uncoupling sex and gender isn't the win.

But let's get something perfectly clear since you keep using plumber as a supposed slur, I'm proud of my career as a plumber, not embarrassed by it, I enjoyed going to work every day and it treated me well financially. Unfortunately it was hard on the body. If you feel you're above me somehow, that's only your perception, not reality.
