Now that a lot of the dust has settled...

We have millions of people that got the jab.
Some are terrified that it was the biggest mistake ever.
Some are too proud to admit their regret.
Some proudly state they were part of the cure, such as it is

I am none of those.
I got the vax because of an earnest effort to appease people around me while simultaneously lacking any fear of either the disease or the vax. My reporting on my status has not been hidden. I had no side effects. I also got covid and was mildly sick for a week.

Feeling duped about both, I still find it difficult to truly understand with full certainty what and why this **** occurred.
As such, I see conspiracy theory on both sides of both the vax and the disease itself. That is 4 conspiracy theories at once: pro and con for two things.
Pro vax hyperventilators, Con vax side-effectors, Pro world plague of mysterious origins, Con COVID- it was intentional experiment/population control.

My lucky status is that I feel like many probably do: relieved.
I wish I hadn't been duped. But I do believe NOW, that we all were.
I don't regret following my heart at the time either though.
Virtue signalers from both sides can kiss my ***.

People that act high and mighty about any of this **** with 20/20 hindsight suffer misplaced hubris.
I really wish that part would stop. The vax wasn't worth a **** against a disease that was handled clumsily.

We are fellow citizens getting sucked deeper into an Orwellian fog. We ought to celebrate both people making a hard decision and living to tell about it. The braying assholes from both camps have lost sight of that.

As one of those who bray from a camp, allow me to share my own origin story in this matter. 

I was raised baptist - and although I recovered, there are residues. One of those is a passing familiarity with revelations, which assures us a time will come that no man may buy or sell except that he have the mark of the beast. There were regular, significant threats of losing my right to participate in the marketplace, unless I take that mark. I was unable to fly. I was locked down - though I successfully ignored the lockdowns. I was threatened, cajoled, lied to, bullied by my government and the gay maoist horde. 

The thing that your "both sides" narrative doesn't really get any traction on is that throughout this matter, I was the fellow minding MY business and not his neighbors'. It also ignores that compelling one to experiment with drugs is a crime against their humanity.

I will take your implicit suggestion to walk it off under advisement. Meanwhile, you'll excuse my preparations for the hunt.

For my money, kissing and making up over crimes against my humanity isn't on the agenda. Might as well ask a rape victim to walk it off. These *** glommed on me . They are smack on the far side of the **** around/find out chart - right there with the kiddie dangers.

But I will confess, I tend to think of those who got bullied into it as prison sissies - men who let other men jab them under threat of some inconvenience. 

I will acknowledge that the ability to feed one's family is a hard driver, so those who were given a right-now choice of go home or get jabbed (medical workers and pilots, for example) deserve some compassion. At the same time, those who capitulated became ballast on the pirate ship that tried to rob me of my manhood and humanity, For them I have comrision - a kluge of compassion and derision. 

What if there were a rape and no one dropped trou? Planes don't fly ****. So, yeah - comrision.

At the time, 3 years ago, we all had limited amounts of info to work with. This amid chaos of the world shutting down, no cure in sight. Months of sheer terror for some watching loved ones die. The gloom could be watched spreading, worsening.
Businesses not just closing but ceasing to exist at all. Basics were getting thin on the shelves. Entire countries imposing onerous lockdowns under pain of jail time.
Our country considering letting all those poor covid potentials out of jail. Chaotic contradictions.
Suddenly a respite. A rushed but potentially relieving vaccine. Those months of draining your savings, out of work, maybe a little light at the end of the tunnel.
There is, of course, more but you get my point.

You seem to forget that slow death feeling.
That is the "20/20 it-wasn't-so-bad hindsight" you want me dismiss.
Looking back and reducing that to a simple black and white, yes or no, disregards the very real fear of the unknown.
People were scared, reacted to that emotion, you are saying the learning curve didn't exist.
Taking the vax was a choice, of course. But the perceived stakes changed over time.
That is your error.
