That's weird...I didn't have to do any of that. At least not that I remember.
Maybe you can download and ignore the rest? But it doesn't matter...I think duckduckgo is a good one too.

I think I'll use both...Google is corrupt and stacked...a guy testified in front of Congress that Google is stacked and corrupt.
A long time ago I did a dirt search on Biden on Google...guess what the first page was loaded with...and I NEVER used "Trump" in my search.
Almost the entire first page on Google was negatives about Trump even though Trump's name was never a part of my search.
I'm going to reload duckduckgo and use them as well as brave for important searches. Google is only reliable if yer search is for fish bait. lol

Now I know what happened to my duckduckgo. It was my browser on my pervious computer. A friend of mine is retired from the local university, but before he retired he was asked to start a new dept with all new computers...then they cancelled that dept and were planning on sending all those new computers to Japan to be grinded up and disposed of...what a waste!
So he grabbed at least 5 of those computers...me and another friend were gifted with those new computers and it was already loaded with Google.
I just loaded DDGO so now that's my browser again and I have brave bookmarked...I'll use them both and let you know if I learn of any advantages.
