Basically it was, everybody must do their part.

We had a hospital owned by Dr G W Robinson and Doc was trusted to give us all shots when we needed shots.

Our civic duty was to take our shots,

Otherwise all the people that loved us had to care for us if we got sick from something Doc’s shots would prevent.

We were all Republicans in that little town, or if not, it was kept quiet.
