The USA Imports Oil from Canada and Mexico, we also used to get from Venezuela and Russia but these have stopped.

The USA is also the worlds largest producer of Oil.
If Russia was too far away to ship oil to the US, so is Saudi Arabia. The difference between the distance between Odessa and, say Houston is very close to the distance between Jeddah and Houston.

Transport by tanker is not all that expensive. The grade of oil is a more important factor. crude oil varies in density and what can be produced from it,
The production of oil seems far too complicated for you to address.

You must have me confused with someone else. I wonder if SA is selling us Russian oil at their discount?

Venezuela, for example. To some degree, Ecuador. And perhaps Saudi Arabia (where the oil belongs to Aramco, a corporation owned by the monarchy), and Bahrain, Qatar, the UAE and perhaps Oman.

The US will have oil independence when it nationalizes all oil producers and refineries and boosts the production of all petroleum products to the level that the country requires.

This is not at all likely to occur.
Ah, the commie speaks about the glories of socialism!  How fitting!

But for your information, a country DOES NOT have to have nationalized their fossil fuels production in order to be energy independent.  Weren't WE under President Trump nitwit?

There are PLENTY of other countries that are energy independent or net exporters of energy.  Add these to your list:

It's Zeet's **** to eat.

He boasted about it, insisted I wouldn't merit admission.

I showed him my hand.

He never got to naming the place.

What's the value of YOUR economic "education" when you can't even grasp economics most fundamental laws?

This is NOT about Socialism, it is about logic.

If you are FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT. what does that mean?
It means  that you have enough money to cover at a minimum, all your expenses, and have the ability to select from whom you buy the things you need.
It does NOT MEAN that you have the ability to BORROW enough money to cover at a minimum all of your expenses.

If a country is ENERGY INDEPENDENT, it means that the country produces, at a minimum, all the energy that it consumes and can SET THE PRICE of that energy.

You do not comprehend what is meant by Energy Independent.
The US has never been energy independent. The people and government do not control the corporations that produce energy. The prices have always been set by market forces. (This may not have been true during WWII, because the government rationed gasoline and some other petroleum products.

There is no doubt whatever that MBS actually ordered the murder of Kashogghi, he just did not expect that the gory details about slicing and sawing the US resident journalist into bits and incinerating the bits in the embassy BBQ grill. There is no doubt that Biden was outraged by this, and that MBS knows precisely what Biden and most of the world thinks of this murder.
You weren't there, so you don't know if he wasn't on his knees begging.

And when asked, Biden said he wasn't meeting with the Saudis one on one. He said that he was meeting with multi-Arab nations at once and that the Saudi's would be there.

He begged for oil like a feening bitch and the Saudis gave him just enough to see him thru August.

And Nobody gives a **** about Kashogghi but him mom.

Your description of your intellect suggests a splayed octopus.

Why do you think that doubt is organized in hemispheres?.

Pretty sure you weren't bothered nearly as much when Trump told his lies, So your moral outrage is kind of false.
