A man legally carrying a weapon saved lives by shooting and killing a mall gunman. Anti-gunners don't believe he should be called a "good Samaritan", basing that upon a bible passage.

Really? Anti-gunners are liberal airheads who bash the bible routinely. All of a sudden, it's a tool for them to bash a hero who saved lives. There's a special place for these anti-gun fanatics. It's called six feet...well, you know.  **** 'em all!

And **** all you liberals here as well. Find a rope and a closet.

No matter how you cut it the Bible is just fiction.
That being said this guy stopped more deaths by being armed and killing the shooter. He's a hero.
People that would say otherwise need to pipe down and shut the **** up. This one armed citizen showed more bravery and heroism than almost 400 Texans.
And he didn't have armor nor a battle rifle just a 9mm. pistol.

The guy saved lives.  A couple of points about this.

Indiana just changed their law concerning carrying.  On July 1 of this year you are no longer required to get a permit to carry in Indiana.  If the good guy did not have a permit this law came just in time. 

Also:"I don’t know who needs to hear this but when a 22-year-old illegally brings a loaded gun into a mall and kills a mass shooter armed with an AR-15 after he already killed three people and wounded others is not a ringing endorsement of our implementation of the Second Amendment," Moms Demand Action founder Shannon Watts said on Twitter.

It is not illegal to carry a gun in a business that restricts them.  BUT if you are asked to leave and you refuse then you may charged with criminal trespass. 

And last:

I wonder if this guy is friends with  @Blackvegetable  ?

"The Good Samaritan paid for an unknown immigrant's health care out of pocket," comedian John Fugelsang wrote on Twitter. "The Good Samaritan did not shoot anyone. Jesus was not a fan of killing for any reason, including self-defense. But if these ammosexuals had ever read the Bible, they couldn't support the GOP or NRA."

According to reports he also put himself between the shooter and others.  

“His actions were nothing short of heroic,” Ison said. “He engaged the gunman from quite a distance with a handgun, was very proficient in that, very tactically sound and as he moved to close in on the suspect, he was also motioning for people to exit behind him.”

Of course they blame the Good Samaritan.  If they didn't, then they couldn't keep pushing their gun-ban narratives.  No one will protect you, except you.  Cops only investigate crimes after they happen.

In the New Testament, Jesus referred to Samaritan, because Samaritans were viewed by  other Jews as heretics who were believed to be disobeying the tenets of the Jewish religion. They were a despised outcasts.

The guy who took out the shooter was NOT like a Samaritan. He was a rather ordinary common guy who put himself in danger of being shot by the mass murderer. He acted heroically.

The Good Samaritan in the Bible found a poor soul beaten up and near death who was not a fellow Samaritan, yet he took him in and cured him.  He did what Jesus' audience believed was NOT what any Samaritan would do. But he did the right thing.

Those who call him a Good Samaritan do not understand the parable in the New Testament.

Sure, he was a hero, and perhaps the only Good Guy With A Gun that we have seen in recent days. He was a hero and deserves praise.

But a Good Samaritan?, no, he does not fit the parable.

 

Where are all these good guys with guns stopping shootings that you always talk about? I’ve never seen it.
