When I was 16, I wanted to be a cowboy who would go into town 
every Sat. nite to get drunk, play poker, and get laid at the local whore-house.

I use to wish I lived during the 1800's. always thought I would make a badass outlaw, lawman or cattle baron.

that is until the power went out for about 36 hours two winters ago during an ice storm. 

that really put **** into perspective for me. =/

this post isn't picking on you but getting you to realize something.

If you lived in the 1800's you wouldn't have known life today and you would have lived your time adjusting to life as it happened then nd been prepared for natural weather patterns during seasonal periods. Blizzards in winter, tornados spring, summer, fall. You would have learned to hoard more and depend on society less.

you would live prepare for the worst, hope for the best, adapt to the rest. Life never stays what it was, or is. Natural World Order.

How about we raise it to 21 unless enlisted in the military? That's the age for alcohol, for tobacco, for firearms. I had a paper route at 8 with no expectation of voting, these gender confused snowflakes can wait till the age of majority. In fact transsexual services should be illegal on those under 21.

Nobody asked me, but what I think would be the best reform should be that in order to be eligible to vote, YOU NEED TO HAVE A JOB or be self-sufficient!  I think it's **** that people NOT contributing to the tax base for society currently have a say in how other peoples tax revenue are being spent?  Nobody in their right mind would vote AGAINST having a say in how everyone else's taxes should be going to support THEM!  Who in the world would vote AGAINST not getting more benefits when it costs them NOTHING TO DO SO, and liberal politicians do that every two years?

Although it will never happen, that one reform alone would fix a multitude of problems we currently are facing today!  We should need to EARN the right to vote for the betterment of the country, and not be just a huge voting block of dependent people that politicians could use to be elected by promising to be the one who will give the most in money and benefits to the most parasitic members of our nation!

Remember the term "vested" into a community where a person had to own property to vote on taxes and representatives to preserve a working representative republic from American History class?
