Supporting the premise that greenhouse gasses are causing global warming, we are seeing signs that theory might be true

https://youtu.be/dcV3p929A5s

2022 is the hottest year in recorded history, all over the world, by a giant margin.  Huge areas of forest, plains and farms are spontaneously combusting.  Multinationals like Amazon and Walmart have deposited millions of tons of CO2 in the atmosphere with global shipping.  This is the wages of globalism.

Wherever a commodity is produced, be it food, clothing, automobile, electronics etc.. that commodity should be sold/used/consumed no more than 50 miles from its point of origin.

If global warming is real, learn to consume locally or die.  This is one reason why nationalism and local consumption are vastly superior to globalism, in terms of long term viability for the human species

This is a good solution, but will it be enough?  I try not to blame these big guys like Amazon or Walmart because they wouldn't be releasing so much CO2 unless we bought from them. So, at the end of the day, we have to follow the money...which is us. We keep them going.

YEP.
It is ridiculous how lopsided economics make it possible to make things in China, ship them 1/2 way around the World and still make a huge profit over made in the USA.
Cheap Sub Standard Chinese Crap will find its way into landfills much sooner than higher quality goods made in the USA.

I agree, but it’s hard to blame consumers when the big guys control the media.  If tech giants brought awareness to this, the sheep would adjust behavior accordingly

I don't think so. I really don't. People, well most Americans specifically, wouldn't care. We are a gluttonous society. We indulge and indulge and indulge. Obviously, not everyone, but Americans tend to have a smaller amount of self-control and higher level of impulsivity than others.

Chinese brake drums, flywheels and brake rotors are made out of less dense metal.
Less dense metal can't carry heat away as efficiently as higher density metal..so you will not get the same service life out of Chinese metal parts.
Same goes for Chinese bearings, automotive chassis suspension parts.....always opt for American made if you plan on keeping the car.
NAPA will always give you these options..and the other parts stores are beginning to catch on too.

Just a constructive idea for those who want  some relief from the sun......buy a SILVER TARP FROM HARBOR FREIGHT AND SOME THREADED HOOKS.
Attach the hooks to your homes facia board, or under the eaves......then hang  pieces of the tarp to those hooks to provide some shade for your windows.
A good utility knife or scissors will slice up this tarp material with ease.
Verify that your attic fan is working too.

The big ball of constant nuclear **** explosions at the center of our solar system would be my guess. We have kept accurate track of temperatures around the globe since satellites were created for this purpose in the 1980s. Hottest summer in recorded history means in the last 40 years.

they didn't wreck the environment, they destroyed understanding the self evident way evolving works in plain sight. here you are aiding and abetting the process.

Here is more wages of globalism, the great Pacific garbage patch.

https://theoceancleanup.com/great-pacif ... age-patch/

This problem could not have existed a century ago, because people in the 1920s did not wrap every tiny commodity in plastic and ship it to the far side of the world

they also burned their trash so landfills weren't necessary. You really don't pay attention to natural evolving in plain sight and the so called fragile environment actually is tough as nails correcting things that are out of balance tend to cancel itself out.

Pollution of our oceans is indeed an environmental disaster. One that doesn't have any potential of contributing to the all consuming cancer that is the promotion of anthropogenic climate change. These real and addressable issues are not given the attention and funding they deserve because we are wasting finite resources on climate change.

Why not show a predator eating that same sea turtle not wrapped in plastic netting? Stop exaggerating everything beyond what actually is taking place with this species intentionally destroying itself because people want intellect to be higher priority than adapt or become extinct.

there are many offenders but I will pick out just one multinational to make an example

Here is the product line of Coca Cola, from which plastic debris has become ubiquitous in the ocean

major Coca Cola Products in USA: Dasani water, Fanta, Powerade, Sprite, Flavored Cokes such as Cherry, Vanilla and many more, Barq's Root Beer, Fresca, Mr. Pibb, Nestea, Minute Maid, Bacardi Mixers Fruitopia, TaB, Tahiti Treat, Mello Yello, Splice, & Mexican Coke.

imagine if this company business model was to open a plant in each state and have each plant dedicated to serving the public only in that one state, eliminating the need for shipping over state lines.  That way they could run a recycling plant locally to reuse their own bottles or better yet, start packaging their products in biodegradable hemp bottles.  Millions of marine life forms would be spared.

why is it you cannot project actual events in real time forward?

How does it require imagining things working differently than already existing?

When you won't accept actual life, why do you expect imagined realities to work better than actual life evolving here now?

You were performing so well the last couple of weeks, I though you may have changed your mind.
