While you are correct about this, I do respect Denzel for not wanting to kiss white women.  Interracial sex/marriage is **** and not the norm - Good for Mr. Washington to push back on this.

I think you have a valid point with this. Still, Hollywood doesn't really reflect on real life in the same way. If you were a white man in a conservative family in many circumstances you might be disowned by your family for dating a black woman. Real life is not really a true reflection of what we see in our popular media. Of course, people always debate the things they see on television. Add to that 24 hour politics and  you lose track of real life. It is how they make a living, a nice one at that.

your stereotypes are wrong. I would disown a son for dating a black...but very few 'conservatives' would.. 'conservatives' like to take pride in being less racist than the democrats.

He would have to steal from me to get me to disown him.
This  is a moot point because I raised him to take pride in his White European heritage and he has done so.
