No, a form or version of something that differs in some respect from other forms of the same thing or from a standard.

Nod.

The standard being a weapon that has a cyclic rate of fire of 750-800 rounds a minute if a continuous feed of rounds was possible with one trigger pull.

The Ar 15 does not meet that definition.

Looks like your Rogan thread backfired.        Too bad for you that it's pinned. Now you will be publicly embarrassed for a day.
Lol. No stupid ***. Here, let me narrow it down for you. Whatever your stupid liberal sources say ie...CNN, MSNBC, and your brainless leftwing blogs you love, if you take the complete opposite of what they tell you to think, then you will find the truth about Trump.

You assert a lot of stupid ****.

Then decline to even try to support it.

Since you are now lining out key facts I accept your surrender.

for the record this is not decorative:

The standard being a weapon that has a cyclic rate of fire of 750-800 rounds a minute if a continuous feed of rounds was possible with one trigger pull.

The Ar 15 does not meet that definition.

Remeber this:The U.S. Army defines assault rifles as "short, compact, selective-fire weapons that fire a cartridge intermediate in power between submachine gun and rifle cartridges."[18] In this strict definition, a firearm must have at least the following characteristics to be considered an assault rifle:[2][3][4] Rifles that meet most of these criteria, but not all, are not assault rifles according to the U.S. Army's definition. For example:
  • Select-fire M2 Carbines are not assault rifles; their effective range is only 180 metres (200 yd).[19]
  • Select-fire rifles such as the Fedorov AvtomatFN FALM14, and H&K G3 main battle rifles are not assault rifles; they fire full-powered rifle cartridges.
  • Semi-automatic-only rifles like the Colt AR-15 are not assault rifles; they do not have select-fire capabilities.
  • Semi-automatic-only rifles with fixed magazines like the SKS are not assault rifles; they do not have detachable box magazines and are not capable of automatic fire.

He makes an *** out of himself every single time he comments on a post without reading it. Every.single. time.

Watch: his response to this will be: "that is your assertion. prove it." He really should win this poll.

Like how Ike one one hand says that GUN VIOLENCE IS OUT OF CONTROL IN CHICAGO...THEN ON THE OTHER HAND IKE CLAIMS HE HAS LIVED IN CHICAGO FOR MANY YEARS AND HAS NEVER NEEDED TO DEFEND HIMSELF FROM ANY GUN PLAY

No, Tiny.

Your speculations and reframings are dispensed with by citation.

Entertain whatever fantasy you like, but whether viewed from left or right, the sp1 is an AR-15 VARIANT, by definition.

Of course it is a variant.  I gave you the definition of variant.  But it is different and by definition not an assault rifle based on PERFORMANCE,  NOD.

As I told you quite some time the Mustang V6 is a VARIANT Of the GT 5.0.  And as one who has owned BOTH they do not have the same performance,

You May leave now with your tail between your legs.
