You are the one that took a drug based on technology that was in limited human trials immediately before Pfizer and Moderna released their products. Animal studies of mrna drugs were mixed, often greatly decreasing the victims lifespan. Seems you are following the superstition that these have been around for decades. Crispr has been around for 40 years but mrna vaccines had been given to a few hundred people prior to rona.

Mrna treatments had never been widely used prior to rona. They were limited to animal testing 5 years prior. Human trials for cancer treatments were in their infancy.

Because there were issues with delivery.

But these had been largely overcome by 2018, and work on numerous potential applications were already underway.

Your objection wasn't informed by anything other than superstition.

With no effective delivery system until 2018 that doesn't give any real time for long term clinical trials. It's pure hubris and speculation to say there are no long term consequences of these treatments as they have not been around long enough to gather the data. Safe and effective is the extraordinary claim screaming for evidence. Safe and effective is faith based superstition. One I hope proves correct but I chose not to participate in personally.

The lipid delivery system was approved pre-covid.

No presumption. Without an effective delivery system in existence for more than a year before covid-19, with the cooling requirements for the existing delivery system, it's a statement of fact this wasn't widely tested before being used against rona.
