Pope Francis is a sincere and honest man and clearly is against any form of abuse of children. Previous popes totally ignored this, all the way up to John XXIII. Benedict acknowledged a problem but did little about it.
There is no real reason for any pedophile cabal to exist outside the various religious orders.
I was in scouting all the way up to Eagle Scout and a camp counselor, and there was nothing about any sort of gay anything.
