I would say that Kim sending DPRK troops to support the Russians seems quite credible.
TV anchors do not make up the news, they read the reports that they are given and the major networks run their reports through fact checkers.

  The general attitude of the Right Wing Nutjob is to claim that if any media outlet, the WaPo, the NYT, ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, etc. ever makes one error, then that is grounds fo declaring that everything they report is a deliberate lie. That is why they should be ignored.

If there are DPRK troops in any large numbers attacking Ukraine, it will become obvious. There will be radio chatter in Korean, there will be dead Korean combatants, there will be defectors. It will not be a secret than can be kept for long.

China can't enter the Ukraine, too busy taking back Taiwan. They can support a North Korean contingent. Marking something false because Russians said that they would welcome the support and North Korea didn't comment doesn't seem justified.

China is only annoying Taiwan, they have no intention of invading. China is worse off economically now than it has been in 30 years. There will be none of the 10% annual growth that the people of China have come to expect. China cannot hope to export vast quantities of stuff to the US and the EU if it attacks Taiwan. North Korea has always been secretive about all of its foreign activities.
Maybe someday, China will attack Taiwan, not not at this time.

A member of the Duma and a television anchor. I don't think that is going to translate into policy. I could be wrong but I wouldn't place a bet in Vegas on that without really long odds.
