What you "knew" was pure **** - which proves beyond doubt that your sources abuse you. A person with a descended pair would be embarrassed - and PISSED, - and would be digging into the subject with a vengeance, looking to see by what mean trick his sources deluded him; looking for the **** lie and the **** liar so that he could avoid being treated like a mushroom in future. YOU, OTOH, are just sort of mildly surprised: "Huh - didn't know that. Interesting" - and then you move the **** on, no smarter, gangnam-goldfish style.

Well I'm not writing a doctorial thesis here. It's just an online discussion form. Live and learn. And your position is reactionary, I personally think the policies of racial justice are warranted no matter how imperfect they are. Sending military vehicles in is not progress in my vantage point.
Nothing is easier than defending the status quo.
