I am not sure I really care what the issue is, if most of the parents in one area do not want the school system to teach it ... that school system should respect the wishes of the very people they are taking the taxes from... 

The teachers are not the parents.  I am not sure I have ever saw any personal teacher's items in the classroom, I have in their offices.  A teacher's freedom, acceptance of thought doesn't mean you get to teach sex to my 5-year-old, If I do not wish you to.  I am the parent not the teacher... 

I do not have a problem with "In God We Trust" posters, but if most of the people in my area are against it ... so be it ...

So, if you have a majority of parents who believe that the destiny of a person is to transform himself into a deity to rule over his own personal planet, as the Mormons do, then the school district should be teaching this in school?

Claiming that we trust in God does not actually mean that everyone in the country trusts in God, does it?
Claiming that this is a country under God does not cause a Deity  to appear above any country that makes this claim in a Pledge of Allegiance.
This is harmless piety, but still,I fail to see how it it not an establishment of a state religion.
There are thousands of Americans that believe in many gods,and many more that believe in none.

Dems don't want school choice. They want to control people and make them all dumb and dependent.
