I'm pretty sure that he made it crystal clear that you could be in Germany, and you could be jewish - but if you were smart, you wouldn't be both. 

But then, I've read his book. Read Mao, read Marx - read all the books that the big ideas competing for hearts and mnds in the 20th century came from. Hitler's made it pretty clear that jews were in a heap of trouble if he got the reins.
