Nope. What Parton said is, after dealing with the Nazis, the Nazis should be used to fight the Soviets.
Patton was good with continuous wars too. He was an excellent psycho for his time.

Yes, he said it. You're talking about a different issue--post WWII strategy to deal with Soviet aggression. That was a higher level than Patton, and was discussed more by the British. Still, I think that if I had a time machine, and some degree of omnipotence, I would simply give him a prize for his beautiful paintings and invite him to Paris to hobnob with Picasso, Mondrian and Cezanne. He was not an untalented painter.
