In one statement, Stink Finger wiped out the reduction in the 10 year cumulative deficit that was the selling point of the Inflation Reduction Act. You know, the legislation passed recently that doesn't reduce inflation.

Your hero braindead biden voted for a bill that made it impossible to discharge student loans through bankruptcy.  In that same bill made it impossible to discharge consumer credit card debit through bankruptcy.

"In short, BAPCPA was a terrible bill that favored credit card companies, big banks, and millionaires over working-class borrowers.  It also is solely responsible for the fact that student loan debt is totally impossible to dismiss — even after one has declared bankruptcy.

Wait a minute — I thought Joe Biden was the consummate defender and advocate of the working class and oppressed.  Far from it.  In reality, Biden's political career of more than four decades was predicated upon protecting the interests of credit card companies.

He and his son, Hunter, were compensated handsomely for doing so.  According to a 2019 GQ article titled "How Biden Helped Strip Bankruptcy Protection from Millions Just before a Recession," "one of the biggest credit card companies in Delaware, MBNA, hired Joe Biden's son Hunter in 1996.  Even after Hunter became a federal lobbyist in 2001, he stayed on at MBNA as a consultant at a fee of $100,000 per year, meaning he was pulling in a six-figure salary at the same time his father was pushing for the industry's top priorities."  Can you say "quid pro quo," Joe?"

I would have no problem if student loans were wiped out in bankruptcies.  The change to the bankruptcy laws to prohibit this was wrong. But, just giving away money is most certainly wrong, especially when our country has none to give away. Contrary to popular belief, our Federal Government is not "rich" - it is poorer than a starving, emaciated Somalian baby.

So the guy who who builds houses who had to buy his own tools and a dependable truck to haul them around has to pay the debt of someone making 170,000 plus and drives a Tesla?

No ****?  You mean stupid people like getting things for "free"?  That's because they are too ignorant to understand there is no such thing as "free".

And wait until it's time to file their next tax return...they will have $10,000 in additional taxable income.  Oops, there goes that refund...get your checkbook out, you owe taxes this year.

The Dept. of education should be eliminated. Obama took away the power of lenders to make a financial decision concerning college loans. A bank or lending company would have been more prudent in lending money to a dope that had a major in Gay art in 18th century America. All Biden is doing is buying votes, increasing tuition and transferring wealth from tradesmen to dopes with useless degrees. A barkeep in a dive i visit has a degree in psychology. He told me he learns more about psychology in one shift on a Sat night in a dive than he learned in 4 years at Umass. Senile Biden is the worst and most corrupt President ever.

I don't see Biden's house being raided by the FBI for confidential papers.

Something ain’t right,
that’s not what the policy says.

Anyone making above $125,000 doesn’t get their school debt forgiven.

Plus, the guy who buys his tools and truck for his business can write those things off on his taxes.

People have always been getting free **** in America.

Things like the land act and the GI bill were all free giveaways. You calling your ancestors stupid? Ok.

That is what this particular policy does.  Many dem lawmakers and the base want total forgiveness.
