What the Chinese have are resources, money, technology, lots of people and war machines. They have a government that wouldn't hesitate to make every last one of their population fight a war the top commies think is necessary. We're arguing about what a female is. Half of us are buying scare stories about sea level rise from billionaires whose mansions are all built at sea level. We have BALLYHOOED the wisdom of being willing lab rats because of a weak - but well hyped - virus. We locked down the entire country EXCEPT the border, across which we allowed - nay, ASSISTED - virus carriers to trespass unimpeded. Half of us believe an autistic child is a climate expert. We think that "science" is whatever the teevee says it is, and we constantly quote the teevee AS "the science."
