Making school board elections partisan will result in stupid fights and an end to intellectual freedom in the schools.
Making it impossible for a gay teacher to answer any questions about the photo of his/her wife of husband grounds for dismissal is going to be a disaster for education in this state.

I think some of those removed board members were tied to some in the GOP.

Broward County is the most consistently Democratic county in the state, and I think the third most populous.
DeSantis did not give any really valid reason for firing these people. This seems to be a political stunt to make school board elections partisan. DiSantis was showing the Democrats that he had the power to screw with them.
He has been a totally wretched governor. He is always angry and snarling about something.
He does not want counties and municipalities to be able to enact laws that their constituents favor.
He does not want the universities to have intellectual freedom. He wants to abolish tenure.
He is a Fascist piece of ****.
If he is elected, he will try to seize the Republican nomination for president, because he is power hungry.
This country does not need a constantly angry, snarling president. Florida does not need this fool, either
Just listen to him talk. Do you want to hear his pipsqueaky voice on the evening news every night?

This is not true, they are very much in favor of their friends ans acquaintances coming here, legally of illegally.
It is often that the White Cubans and the Cubans from La Habana do not want the Black Cubans or the guajiros (peasants) to settle here.
Cuban is the only country in Latin America where there has been a Black vs White race war in this century.
There have been some Indio vs Ladino wars in Mexico and Guatemala, though.
