Okay, another song trivia question.
There was an obscure song that actually hit the radio, somewhere around 67-69, if I remember correctly, by one artist. Goofy, upbeat sounding song about seeing violence and others not caring, helping or getting involved. I think it was on the air for about one day.  :rofl:  

Anyone?

ok- i can stew for awhile... but i will tell you - it's a very hard song to play. :lol: its a very good song.

I liked the Monkees as a kid, especially the one about Pleasant Valley Sunday. I thought it was a happy song and couldn't hear "Status symbol land" well enough to make out the words. 
Now I like the song, but not the lyrics. They sound like some woke counter-culture kids. Maybe they were just that for the times.

Okay, Layla was a song inspired by Eric's obsession and love for Patti Boyd, the wife of his good friend, George Harrison. He eventually "took" her from George Harrison, and they Married. Funny thing is, they still remained good friends.
