Every human emotionally needs and wants what this song pledges to do to be accept by another person. Can a person survive without it, yes. Will they ever be happy? probably not.
My point is people play each other to get emotional satisfaction by any intellectual means necessary. All is fair in love and war except for those trapped between the desire to be more than life grants time to reproductions occupying space now. This is another one of those songs like Roy Orbison's best friend.

. To see the Ramones live at CBGB's or some iconic but true to its roots, grimy, punk rock venue would have been amazing but born a bit too late. Starting going to concerts in 1997 and they did their last show in 1996.
