Sometimes I wish I did have a keyboard.
BTW...I assume yer new Casio has a straight up piano voice...I would start with that. I would use that to learn songs, then later you can use some of the fancier sounds if you want to...but start with a clean piano sound to learn the chords.

Using fancy sounds before you learn the clean sound can make you lazy. Fancy sounds can cover up mistakes if you start that way. That's what I do to learn on the guitar. I'm not even using an amp while I'm learning a song.

I'm a little lazy on guitar these days too. The other guitar player just stopped by with a micrometer to measure the string gauge on the guitar I'm playing.
It's kind of hard for me to bend strings these days so I think I'll go with a lighter gauge so the strings are easier to bend.

I'm a big Rod Stewart fan. When I was young I had his greatest hits on 8 track. Our family went camping to a lake and I slept in the canopy on my dad's truck and I wore that tape out.

But that song is true. I'm 59. But it doesn't matter.. all my friends are way older- They think I am a youngster.. some of the guys look pretty damn good. hoot.

I like classical music too. I took some music classes in college. Had to memorize a whole cassette of classics for a test. I aced the test.
