That way yer still "in time"...but it's YOU and not a machine. Then yer forced to do it YOUR way. You might like it. I probably would.
Thanks for making me laugh.. but i'm sure you would prefer his style.roadkill » 18 Oct 2022, 4:14 pm » wrote: ↑ In short...I would rather hear Cyndi's style instead of someone else's.

Check yer new keyboard...it might have a metronome built in. It's just a way to keep time when yer playing.sootedupCyndi » 18 Oct 2022, 4:15 pm » wrote: ↑ never heard of it Roadkill?
what is it? see these are the things i need to learn.
i do have troubles with rhythms.
Roadkill. Its here! Came late yesterday. WOW!! It's a beautiful instrument. The SOUNDS are really nice. full and deep. the rhytmns and beats are all up to date..
Congrats...it will likely take a while to get used to it. I would figure which sounds I liked the best and get used to punching those in, then you can experiment with other sounds later.sootedupCyndi » 20 Oct 2022, 6:44 am » wrote: ↑ Roadkill. Its here! BUT.. here comes the butt.
Spent 5 HOURS last night. Trying to get the auto accomp to work. I was pressing the chords and the thing wasnt changing chords. Was almost ready to send it back. lol
To the manual- back to you tube- over and over... it was very frustrating. damn!
i was following what that dumb you tube video said.. And it was pretty simple after all. once I just started pressing buttons.. and not following that video.
so now i'm good to go and can play songs... And the rest I will learn as I go along. It really IS too much of an instrument for me.

Don't forget to learn and play nice tunes instead of getting all caught up with bells and whistles. Then of course you'll have to learn some moves to go with the music.![]()

I had some weird sound on the thing.. like a glass harmonica. Dog is sleeping on his dog bed.. and he's dreaming and howling along... real low. He didn't even know he was doing it.
me too!!!.

Me and you are up and down all night.. What's wrong with us? ????
When my old man was alive.. he used to say. " up and down like a whores draws"

That's why I suggested a good basic keyboard with weighted keys...if you can get a refund, maybe consider a quality keyboard with weighted keys and forget all the bells and whistles.sootedupCyndi » 21 Oct 2022, 3:39 pm » wrote: ↑ Hey Roadkill? 4 hours last nite? ha ha ha
Computer stuff on the damn thing..... All I wanted to do was shut OFF -the Touch sensitive keys for my learning curve? I dont like it right now..
If a person doesn't SMASH down the keys,, or else it sounds like its missing a note in the melody..
Finally? I mastered that.. And the damn keyboard shuts off after a half an hour.. returns to default!!!
And what the manual says... doesn't work.. The you tube video- put out by the company is a no-go .... i didn't think i was signing up for a computer night mare.. I got it nailed now.. phew.. EXHAUSTED!!!!!

Here's a cool song if you could find the material for it. I think the chords would be relatively simple.
