Nope. it's to Rock for me. I need songs with a flowing melody.
lots of those types have one note--- over and over.
for example. Rosanna. Thats a good song. I've tried playing it many times.. nope.
BILLY JOEL would be right up my alley. But i'm a bit sick of him lately. :die:

Of course I can, i love that song. I play the chords. But it doesn't go right with just piano. So you have to mix in some drums. And you gotta sing it.

Songs like that are hard. Because they really aren't a piano song.. more like a band song.

Exactly. If you're first starting out, you need to start with piano standards. Depending on your level, if you're not a beginner, you want to start with Heart & Soul.

And then move up to some ragtime, like the Entertainer.

And then you can eventually play stuff like this...

I hate to help you, but here's a great song to try to learn. I'm trying myself.... Honestly. I have it down, i'm getting fancy on it. But this is a very easy song. And peeps will be impressed, even if you only do the beginning part.

They will, start slow.

I was never fast when I started at 5 yrs old. It takes practice. And that an easy song. It's just g minor and a standard downward progression.
