lots of those types have one note--- over and over.
for example. Rosanna. Thats a good song. I've tried playing it many times.. nope.
BILLY JOEL would be right up my alley. But i'm a bit sick of him lately.
Of course I can, i love that song. I play the chords. But it doesn't go right with just piano. So you have to mix in some drums. And you gotta sing it.sootedupCyndi » 22 Oct 2022, 1:20 am » wrote: ↑ Can you play Rosanna and make it sound right? a song like that. i cant

Songs like that are hard. Because they really aren't a piano song.. more like a band song.RunningWithScissors » 22 Oct 2022, 1:53 am » wrote: ↑ Of course I can, i love that song. I play the chords. But it doesn't go right with just piano. So you have to mix in some drums. And you gotta sing it.
I play like this. I showed roadkill the other day. I'm not bad. I call it Cheat playing.. i can play this.. working on the solo in the middle. waiting for the sheet music. Thats why I like a machine that does the auto accompiant. easy. LOLRunningWithScissors » 22 Oct 2022, 2:01 am » wrote: ↑ Exactly. If you're first starting out, you need to start with piano standards. Depending on your level, if you're not a beginner, you want to start with Heart & Soul.
And then move up to some ragtime, like the Entertainer.
And then you can play eventually play stuff like this...
