Yeah...there's that.

I had to take a break...just polished off an egg sandwich made with cinnamon raisin bread.  Yum!

Yep.  Don't screw with Bears. For the most part, Black bears don't want anything to do with humans (except of course for human garbage)  - but they will attack if Mom has cubs near by.  Brown Bears are no where near where I am, so I don't even think about them.

I think one of the hesitant ones that finally got up the nerve (45 second mark) must have said:
"Damn it, I knew I was gonna bust my chin!"

The worst is when they (in our case a goat), clear the top strand of barbed with their front feet, then don't quite clear it with a back foot, then that back side of the back foot hooks up under the top wire of a woven wire fence. Without human intervention they are done - at least goats or whitetails are.

Noticed how the other elk waited for that one.    :)

I think that location is near Bozeman, Mt. and Yellowstone Park.

It looked a little smaller, so maybe mom waited up with a couple friends? Or maybe just animal empathy.
Becoming less of a human trait for sure!

Looks more to me like the liberal idiot holding the cellphone recording the coyote has been feeding him, and he came back for more.  There are only 2 reasons a Coyote will come up to a glass door like that and make a lot of noise: 1) Rabies; 2) He knows he'll get fed.

I thought about that too.

Looks to me like he is either rabid, or maybe challenging his own reflection.

Could be...I had a lab years ago that would see his reflection in the picture window and he would get vicious at his own reflection.   lol

Looks like he keeps escalating the violence as he observes his counterpart in the glass doing the same, culminating in his violent first attack move, which was a surprising hard hit against the glass.
