I wholeheartedly agree with that.at the aame timr...I think a lot more people go do university than should and it is causing universities to cater to the lowest common denominator...which they must not do. Basically I don't think anyone has any business in higher education without an iq over 115 or so.
I disagree with that. Schools already fawn over gifted students - I don't mean students who get a 3.8 in a mediocre high school where "5" is given for an A in a number of accelerated courses. They compete pretty aggressively with each other to grab these students and will offer them all kinds of tuition breaks. Of course, that just means that average students are paying for these gifted students to go to their school. Fair or unfair, this is already within each school's toolbox. Also, there are already tons of private foundations and scholarships for gifted kids to tap into. The smart ones figure this out quickly and tap into this free money too.I think it is fair for the people to assist in paying for such education because these eould represent people with potential to benefit the society as a whole...and significantly....in contrast to say gender studies people...and those programs should be removed entirely from universities.

What is your definition of "gifted child"? Schools should no longer have a private admission committee nor a private curriculum. Such things greatly impact the health of the society as a whole and should not be driven by profit nor by minority agendas.

So seeing a Latino would be a rarity and way fewer Blacks than our National AVERAGE of 13%

i had a very high iq when i was tested and i was just put in some special high school program and was a able to skip some standardized tests. i was not fawned over.
elite university admissions are mostly based on race and secondarily about your family history with that school. Intelligence is not considered important.

It's a long road, has been historically considering any education in this world.
The endowments consecrated by a rigged economic system that distributes funds only to the top just don't get much for the whole world.... it's a tear drop of wrong over long hard decades of sacrifice that never pays.
When we look at education as a whole at first glance, we see the have's and the have not's amplified.
Debt is backed up with no where jobs, it's an endless sacrifice of folks of every race getting screwed.
You go to college and pay your way through, you might not get any job, but you say, hey I paid my own way - i have pride in that.
You have no pride because a college education did you no good - because you failed to see that you live in an economically rigged system.
Yes, here in the richest country in the world. When your white privilege didn't help, even though you followed all the rules.
They tell you that you should blame another race, but the truth is the race you should blame is the rich fixed economy that sends all the money to the top.
Heck, send the jobs overseas, you don't need a good sustainable job. They make trade policy in secret.

You would be fairly on point with elite, ivy league universities but, not about most state universities and private colleges. i was offered a free ride to some smaller universities, like Mercer...and this is despite the fact i had terrible grades (i always skipped school)
