Trump’s judge in his motion for a master will rule tomorrow on going forward with or without Trump’s request.

We shall see who the “stoopid” one is tomorrow.

The point is, the Fed cannot increase rates without bringing about the financial collapse of the US government.  Under different conditions without such a preposterous debt I agree.  The Fed would be wise (under conditions of low debt) to increase rates to curb inflation.  This is in fact the Feds ONLY useful tool for combating inflation.  But this is a hypothetical and the debt is there at present.

As long as the Dems keep spending (and they will) the Fed is powerless to combat the inflation.  Wise fiscal policy is not in Democrats nature and they lack the understanding you can't "borrow your way to prosperity".  It is like asking a scorpion to act like a frog.  It isn't in their nature.  So I believe what will likely happen is the Federal Reserve will make half-hearted attempts to raise rates which are completely incapable of addressing the level of inflation.  They will make (and have been) public statements threatening to raise rates commensurate with the level of inflation.  But they won't follow through because they can't.  It is the Fed's hope that threatening to increase rates will have the same desired affect.  And it will to a certain extent as people listen to such threats of rate increases to come when making decisions today.  But threats can only go so far as the mathematics remains the same unless they ACTUALLY raise rates sufficient to curb the inflation.  So it is doomed to failure.

My prediction is the dems will spend us into hyper-inflation.  The fed will threaten to dramatically raise rates.  Inflation will continue to exponentially rise to a point beyond any hyper-inflation the world has ever known.  World-wide collapse in time and world conflict is often the result.  How long they can stave off the inevitable is uncertain.

Well at least you are finally coming around to the fact the excessive spending is the cause of inflationary problems.  It's a start.  You appear to be shifting tactics and point fingers at who is the greater culprit.  Like my kid misbehaving so they bring up the fact their sibling didn't clean their room or some other unrelated misdeed.

Problem is, your party (the Dems) have yet to profess the same realization and don't even pretend to attempt to reign in the spending.  At least Republicans acknowledge and correctly identify the problem.  In many cases the Republicans do succeed in curtailing spending (e.g. Contract with America).  I agree Republican successes have been less than sufficient.  But in most cases I attribute this to the electorate revolting under the pain of fiscal reversals.  The electorate wants the problem solved without enduring any pain.  And this just can't happen.  Any party which takes the strides ACTUALLY necessary to fix the problems will get voted out on the next cycle when the public starts to feel the pain caused by decades of economic monetary seppuku.

So we are left with government division as we careen off the fiscal cliff whereupon we will be forced to endure much greater pain in a sudden shock, which will cost us more than just economic strife.  It may well prove to cost us our freedom... our Republic.

That is apparent unsaid.  You don't understand the issues.  Why would I suspect you voted in line with any kind of understanding of the issues, candidates or parties?

You obviously vote based on emotions and not an understanding of the issues.  You will follow whoever promises you an easy way out, like a lemming following his compatriots off the cliff.
