he did not want all of poland. that contradicts national socialism. his political model requires ethnic homogeneity...having a bunch of poles around would ruin germany. what conquests the nazis did was out of necessity because they were at war. poland wanted war, the nazis had to force capitulation. The ussr also invaded poland at the same time...and hitler obviously had to maintain control over territory that divided the ussr from germany. its quite simple.

Hitler absolutely wanted all of Poland and all of Europe under his rule. The only peaceful land he annexed was Austria. All other lands were taken by force, and not just because he was concerned for the German citizens of Danzig.  Saying it again and again, will not make such a silly and easily controverted position true.

you are just wrong. czechia also joined peacefully.

hitler tried everything to make the annexation of danzig peaceful. he offered to simply allow the people of danzig to vote on it, for example. he also offered the make poland an ally in an anti comitern alliance. poland refused. Amusing, therefore, that they were invaded by the ussr.

after hitler annexed czechoslovakia, he noticed the checks had been building a massive army. Look at a map and tell me what that would imply. its pretty obvious. and who was backing this massive czech military buildup? france and the uk. 

hitler, therefore, not being a retard, knew that france and the uk wanted to destroy him. seeing that poland would not negotiate with him and would not become part of the anti comitern alliance, he had no choice but to make a pact with the ussr and utterly destroy poland. it was polands own stupidity that doomed them.

hitler was forced to invade norway to secure very important resources that he needed for a military buildup, which the uk navy would have been able to blockade.

he was forced to enter france throuch the netherlands etc because of the maginot line and also to prevent UK from landing soldiers in the netherlands and attacking him from the rear.

everything he did was consistent with simply realizing that france and the uk wanted to destroy germany.

And the ussr...correct. I don't see what is implausible about that. What was the ussr doing as Germany annexed Austria and czechia? They annexed Estonia, Lithuania, and latvia...then they invaded Finland. 

The invasion of Finland was very politically risky for Stalin and I can assure you that hitler hoped very much that it would provoke the western powers against stalin...and it almost did.. but clearly Churchill and fdr had too much personal love for Stalin. Oh well. 

of course you know nothing of war...but the fact is that there is no way to win a war of attrition against a far greater empire.. the smaller country must become active.

really the only thing you should find mysterious is why france and uk decided to declare war instead of becoming allies. War was a very stupid decision for then. Certainly did not turn out well for them.

Lol dude...come on...we have Stalin classified records since 1996. He was planning to conquer all of Europe and the usa. He was very happy that Germany and the uk were fighting eachother. He considered both of them an enemy.

Germany was a bigger threat to the USSR than the UK or the US, it was right on the border of c0untry that the Nazis had invaded.
What Stalin wanted and what Stalin could get were quite different. I am sure that Churchill and FDR and later Truman were well aware of Stalin;s plans as well as his abilities.

Stalin annexes all the countries on their eastern border...then Hitler cones up and offers to support them against possible Soviet Aggression if they simply give up danzig.

Poland refuses and gets invaded by Germany and the ussr at the same time.

The uk declared war on Germany...not the reverse. And I don't believe Germany could ever manage a land invasion of the uk without aircraft carriers and a bunch of u boats. Hitler did begin making u boats AFTER the uk declared war but he rejected a plan to convert a cruise ship into an aircraft carrier. 

and why did Hitler choose not to wipe out the entire British army at Dunkirk? Why did Hitler approach Churchill with constant peace proposals?

the answer is obvious. Hr felt the uk was making a mistake fighting him. He believed the uk would be better served as his ally fighting to global threat of communism.
