Well, everyone on this planet has homeland somewhere, a place where their ancestors lived for many generations.  Some of my ancestors were from England. Does that give me the right to claim some place in the West Riding of Yorkshire my God-given land? I would say no, and the people of Yorkshire would likely agree.

But Israelis born in Israel, well they have the same right to live there as I do to live in the USA. As do the Palestinians.

I read the book years ago. If you want to know what Koestler thought, you can easily find a copy at Abebooks or in your local public library and read it for yourself.
