Few listened to racial grievances, you mean. There were grievances but nobody cared about the incarcerated crack addicts. At least today’s opioid crisis among white people aren’t landing y’all in prison.

The response to crack was far less insulting than the reaction to opioids. Crack addiction was seen as at least partially the responsibility of the addict. They had agency, they had control over their actions and were thus held accountable. Opioid epidemic was blamed on the manufacturer, the doctors, and everyone but the addict. The same addict that deliberately ground up a slow dissolving tablet, placed it in a spoon, melted it down and injected it.  Those actions are not mentioned in the dosage instructions on any of these products yet somehow the manufacturer is liable.

Having to hide yourself is extremely oppressive, depressive and degrading.

You asked when *** had been accepted so I guess you concede that it's always been widely accepted by most human populations throughout history.  Even in puritanical societies it was accepted as long as it stayed in the closet. 

I never said homosexuality weakened society. Celebration and promotion of sin is a symptom of a dying society. Big difference.

Big pharmaceutical made a slow release drug to help millions get relief from chronic and ceaseless pain. It was a godsend to those having to take pills every few hours to stave off unimaginable suffering. Humans, being the corrupted apes we are, decided to crush these engineered slow release pills and freebase the powder. This is why we can't have nice things. The developers and companies are not responsible for deliberate misuse and re-engineering of their products. 

I would prefer the personal accountability found in the "racist" response.
