Apparently, Black Lives DON'T matter to themselves, so the question needs to be asked why the rest of us should bother insisting that black lives DO matter?
Quite honestly, they'll begin to matter to me when they start mattering to themselves.  And until they do, I'm really not that interested in their problems.

A REALLY hard-hitting piece would ask the victims and survivors of those weekly bloodbaths in Chicago who they voted for in the last election.  To me, it would prove that those who they continually vote for are the very politicians who defunded the police for them and elected the same Democrat socialists they have for generations.  

How eager should we be to help those living there when they continually refuse to help themselves, and prove with every election that THIS is the kind of liberal government they support and want.

I'll save my sympathies and concern for those who are smart enough to vote against the trend and leave the city when they can't change those policies.  
People SHOULD live in the kind of city that they've helped to create in Chicago, Philadelphia, NYC, LA, San Francisco, St. Louis, DC, Seattle, Portland, New Orleans, and every other city run into the ground by Democrats for decades.

The problem is guns. Too many law-abiding blacks with registered guns and permits, you know.
