Dude. The internet is simply a terrible source for anything. Almost all 'news' on the internet...especially about party politics...is just useless propaganda. I know that you know that. 

And the presumption you are hanging all this on...that fascist ought to be an insult...is of course something that I reject. Because I am a self described fascist. It was a very popular political philosophy all over the world in the mid 20th century-especially among the most educated people. It was specifically nazis who gave us nuclear energy, the jet engine, and landing humans on the moon. Indeed something like 6-8 Nobel prizes were awarded to self described nazis. There is nothing evil or stupid about the political philosophy.
