I mostly stick to 9mm and 10mm, sometimes a .40 will interest me. For all of the 45's I own, I only ever shoot one of them and carry none. I have to admit that I am not up to speed on improvements Glock has made over the years - might have to look more into this.FOS » 11 Oct 2022, 5:08 pm » wrote: ↑ the glock 17 is very old school. its kinda obsolete today. you should look into the glock 36...that is a real masterpiece
I can tell you that Sig's high end guns are phenomenal. The X-Five out performs any other pistol I've every shot, including a custom STI 2011 ported 45. I used to shoot with a group of guys every Sunday - we'd devise all sorts of challenges and competitions. One guy and his son had a custom Glock - beat both of them every time with the Sig. It is by far the best gun I've ever shot. This gun was imported from Germany, not US made. I always feel like I'm cheating when I shoot that gun.FOS » 11 Oct 2022, 5:17 pm » wrote: ↑ imho glock is simply a superior company to sig sauer. sig is whatever. more expensive sure.i think their hype is mainly a construct of being used by special forces in the usa who FYI have switched to glock...lol...no coincidence.
now my personal sidearm is not a glock. I like esoteric stuff. finicky, not user friendly esoteric stuff. but Glock is what any normal person should go with.
I don't really see it that way. People naturally flock to groups. Even in a multi-party system, people join the group they are most aligned with, and then those groups must join together to form coalitions. It really tends to be the same groups clumping together to form coalitions. A 2 party system really isn't that much different. Or, it wasn't until the Democrats came out with crazy mandates and dictates which every candidate must now accept. The Republican party is far more open to differing view points.Vegas » 11 Oct 2022, 5:40 pm » wrote: ↑ Politicians do, but the people don't. We have a right to tell them to **** off. However, we don't. Americans, as a whole, prefer loyalty and commitment to a party over truth.
I would say this only applies to Americans. The left have done a splendid job in dumbing the education system down to the point where we produce puppets and non-thinkers. look at people like @Blackvegetable for example. Has he ever given an independent thought? He incessantly uses his media to talk for him. This is most of the left. They have no idea of how stupid they are.Skans » 11 Oct 2022, 8:10 pm » wrote: ↑ I don't really see it that way. People naturally flock to groups. However, if you were to go back to the John F. Kennedy Democrats, they were not nearly as close minded and dictatorial about their party's platform as they are today - totally different party. If that party still existed, and today's Republican party, then I feel that far more people would be represented by the 2 party system. Recall, Independents really were not that big of a group in the past.

Veghead, post my media comment for Skans.
1. Stupid people take comfort in redundancy. Your incessant habit of posting months, and even years, old posts prove that you are a moron. This includes, but not limited to: Potus 2008, pic, media comment, 2020 prediction, etc...(there are more, but you get the point.) Nor can you refute them without a cop-out.

However, as both bales are equidistant from the donkey and offer the same nourishment, neither choice is better than the other.
Question: How can it choose? Does it choose at all, or does it stand still until it starves?
@Blackvegetable since you enjoy randomly quoting ****, here you go. Here is another example of you not reading past 4 words before you make an *** of yourself.
Yes, the current education system is disappointing. I attended public school from 1-12. About the only agenda they taught in school, other than core curriculum was to stay away from doing drugs. I learned about drugs for the 1st time in 3rd grade. It was not only interesting but also convinced me to not try them. That was the big "political agenda" of the day. FYI - the Refer Madness movie was before my time.Vegas » 11 Oct 2022, 8:13 pm » wrote: ↑ I would say this only applies to Americans. @Huey , have you ever met anyone this **** stupid?
The idiot will read only 5 words of a post and strikethrough the rest. Then he will ask a question when the answer to that question is in the part that he striked through. He makes an *** of himself every time.

Nobody can invent that level of stupid.

But why don't you make the example more immediate?
Picture yourself positioned exactly at the midpoint between two equally malodorous goats, each holding equally rank, warm, examples of whatever you Aegean Goat **** confuse with beer.....and you have only one French Tickler.
What do you do, after having your plea to the gods for another French Tickler fall on indifferent ears?
