I was just at the doctor for a check up. She was adamant about the safety of the vax. I told her about my reluctance to continue getting injections that have very little efficacy for a "disease" that I fear not at all. It really isn't deadly enough to fret over.

I brought up a few things I kept hearing about.
She said she hasn't heard any of this stuff about reduced immunity in general after the "vax" wears off.

She claims that in her scientific world the safety of the jab is unquestionably verified. Conspiracy theories aren't worth her time.
When I asked is it actually a "vaccine" or just an injection? She got a bit huffy, "Yes, it is absolutely a vaccination".

I mentioned the statistics that show that the games are being played happened in our own state.
A motorcyclist was hit and killed. His blood showed positive for COVID so his death was part of the COVID stats.
She said, "I rely on national statistics..." as if that couldn't happen elsewhere. So, no defense at all.

What actually bothered me besides her one-sided reticence was this: 
She tried to get me to understand that I should get the booster to help slow the spread and reduce development of variants.

IOW Apparently it's my civic duty. She's vaxxed and her children are. What's my problem? Help your fellow man...

My circumstances in MY life turned this into the path of least resistance.
But, I really don't need anymore of this useless ****.

I've never feared the jab or the disease. It's all over the top hand-wringing. Both sides.

@roadkill  is correct. You don't know how to use your vocabulary. You are not supposed to use fancy words just for the sake of using them. They have a purpose. When you do it, it sounds clumsy and forced. It doesn't sound natural, nor does it come across as eloquent and well-written. It comes across as a desperate attempt to sound intelligent...which you aren't.

That "Moderna" screwed me up something "Wicked"..

I had a weird situation in a doctor office.  There was the PCP and a nurse practitioner in the room.  The doc says, “did you get vaccinated against Covid?  We have the vaccine here and can administer it now.”

”No, I don’t want it”

”It’s safe and effective.  Why don’t you want the vaccine?”

”because I don’t trust big pharma”

the nurse practitioner, standing behind the doctor and facing me, strarts grinning and silently cheering my response with a fist pump.  I can’t help but smirk back at her, and the doctor spins around to look at her.  She immediately goes straight faced with a blank look.

It was a surreal moment, and kind of funny
