This 2022 story you linked to  doesn't even give the first name of the person who was charged...it just refers to her as "Jackson, 56 of Petovsky".

What is her full name and what was her punishment...?

Downloading stored data is only going to serve one purpose...to learn exactly what the voting results were for that computer network.
I don't think it's admissible evidence, but at least it will show the investigators exactly what the time stamped totals were.
It looks like the biggest crime against our democracy are those who are preventing this information from be leaked to the public before they could wipe the stored data clean.
