I've been pondering this if it happens. If Trump and DeSantis announce their candidacy for POTUS I'm torn on who I want to make it. Trump has already started to mock DeSantis...being his usual self. I was hoping he could tame that behavior because it doesn't set well with many. DeSantis has impressed me with his conservative stance, and I was elated to see him dumping illegal slime onto the sanctuary cities, which promptly showed that they weren't as accepting as they claimed. He made fools of them. I believe Trump should TRY to tame his *** down, but remain relentless in his goals, even if they are not PC. I doubt he will curb some of the needless insults though. I can look past that, but many cannot.

At this point, I would favor DeSantis over Trump, and only because DeSantis, IMO, won't ruffle conservative feathers, and if his plans are as sound as Trump's, he has the best chances to take the position.

Plus, there's the FLOTUS factor...Wow!

I like how he handles the immigration issue. Sending them to sanctuary cities forces the left to take immigration seriously. It's a given that dims have no intention to practice what they preach. Therefore, forcing them to practice their **** will be a wakeup call for them. Trump's wall is too expensive, and I don't think it would be all that effective anyway.

Trump will run for office. Will create a coalition with DeSantis, perhaps with DeSantis at the top of the ticket.

either way P or VP both on the same ticket. Not the vs each other scenario. I would prefer DeSantis as P and Don as VP only this administration the President doesn't travel, Trump does. He only needs to be in country if the senate is deadlocked.
