The Armalite 15 is a fully Automatic Weapon.  The Colt Sporter AR 15 is not.  As I said, go to the source of the citation, where I directed you, and show a weapon in the military list with a selector that only has S-1.

My stand:

Colt AR 15 semi automatic weapon was not designed for the military/battlefield.

Any semi automatic rifle sold today by any other company patterned on the original design is not designed for the battlefield/military.

PP, post your stand.

You do know there is only one family of Ford mustangs, correct?

Ignore it again I will post it again.

The Colt AR 15 is.  Armalite designated their prototype combat rifle Armalite 15 or Ar 15.  Actually
originally AR 10.  When Colt bought them they renamed it the c601 and shelved the AR 15 name.  In 64 when they released the rifle designed for civilians they used the name Ar 15 Sporter (SP1).

It had to pass the BATF inspection as a semiautomatic.  It was DESIGNED specifically for the civilian/law enforcement market.  If it was designed for the battlefield it would not have been certified for civilian sale.

@Blackvegetable   is full of ****.  I have posted the Letters from the BATF doing so.  The NFA of 1934 prevented the sale of automatic weapons to the general public unless they had went thru the tax stamp process,

You're wrong, again.

This article describes the many variations of the Colt AR-15 and M16 rifle family of weapons produced by Colt's Manufacturing Company. Weapons patterned on the original ArmaLite AR-15 design have been produced by numerous manufacturers and have been used by nations around the world, some of which created their own variations.

There is no need to redesign the weapon to eliminate Full Auto...which is how we wound up with the first Sporters...
Hence "the......design".

Nope, you haven’t.

If you did you would have posted which military Colt AR had simply am S-1 fire control.  You have yet to accomplish that.

Nor have you described the differences in the lower.  You have been running from that for months now. But you keep using strike thru,  shows your ignorance.
