It doesn't matter what the ATF says, Reframy...the fact is that what was submitted to ATF was the ORIGINAL DESIGN, an ASSAULT RIFLE, as well as the MODIFIED SEMI-AUTOMATIC VERSION OF THE SAME WEAPON.

Thats the jacket I was telling you about.  There is a holster on each side depending on which hand you use.

Not bad!  That'd allow you to carry a full-sized pistol.  That's not typically what I wear day to day.  Mostly shirt, tie and slacks.  Not a lot of places to conceal. 

On another note, I've seen some pretty nice denim type jackets which are Kevlar lined class iiia.  But, not a place to conceal carry like that jacket of yours.

The COLT AR 15 was developed to be a semi automatic designed for civilian use.

What the ATF certification said and what the DOD.  The NFA of 1934 defines weapons like the M16 as "machinegun.

He and Savage also cleared up a point of potential confusion on why the classification letter refers to the AR-15 as an “automatic rifle.”
