I'm going to go out on a limb here and talk about the strongest possibility - Ron DeSantis. DeSantis is a competent governor - he's done a good job for Florida, and they like DeSantis. But, let's talk about Ron's weaknesses:I leave you with this question to ponder. What's the best way to deal with a Junkyard Dog?
- He nearly lost to Gillum - a gay, socialist black man that no one ever heard of. He was mayor of a small town in Florida - Ron, how did you let it get that close on your first shot at Governor?
- DeSantis is not the crowd-motivator that Trump is, not by a long shot. He can speak well enough, and he can answer questions directly. While he has proven he can walk the walk, DeSantis can't and doesn't talk the talk!
- DeSantis seems not to be strategically inclined.
- Democrats have big bank rolls - what kind of money does DeSantis think he can raise in a Presidential campaign - I think it's going to be on the low side.
- No one is a diehard DeSantis fan who will stand on street corners and attend rallies like the awe-inspiring Trump can get his followers to do.
- At least Trump has a game plan; If DeSantis has one, I haven't really seen it yet.
- How is Ron going to handle a pissing-match between he and Trump? Get down in the dirt with the Junkyard Dog? That's a sure way to lose.
Static ideas between lifetimes never the same ancestor twice, really think like a brain navigating in space of existing spontaneously here simultaneously as one does mix in with siblings trying to be parents favorite child, then expand that to favorite consensus in a species never accepting life in plain sight.

He was the opening act to a fairly famous and successful veteran comedian.
The new guy was dreadful. Unsure, flat delivery, timing was not quite right, etc.
No future for this **** guy...
I just saw him again last week. At the same club. Nearly unrecognizable because his demeanor had matured.
The person I was with last year was with me again this time. She didn't even realize it was the same guy.
I told her and she about freaked. "Wow! You're right!," she said.

We'll see. My personal belief is that Trump feels his second term is still owed to him. Hey, I'm all for a tough Republican primary - let the best man win, and if it is Trump, I'm ok with that.
